American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Atlanta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Atlanta follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I stumbled across Randy’s Donuts completely by accident while heading into Lenox Mall, and I am so glad I did. The location is conveniently situated near the parking deck entrance by Nike, making it the perfect place to stop when you need a quick treat or snack before shopping. I was hungry and decided to give it a try. I ordered one of their specialty donuts, a maple-glazed donut topped with a churro and chocolate drizzle. At around $4.50, it was worth every bite. The donut was incredibly fresh, soft, flavorful, and had the perfect balance of sweetness without being overwhelming. I also thought I had ordered a strawberry specialty donut, but somehow ended up with one of their giant donuts instead. When I say giant, I mean giant—it was practically the size of a steering wheel! There was no way I was going to finish that by myself, so I shared it with some kids nearby. They absolutely devoured it, and even their father commented on how delicious it was. Needless to say, it was a hit. What impressed me most was the freshness and quality of the donuts. I’ve visited several highly recommended donut shops over the years, and not all of them lived up to the hype. Some had donuts that

OMG!! Randy's Donuts are heaven in a box! I had to have the Bacon Maple Long John. Delicious! (Lucky for me I got the last one left 😆) The regular Maple Long John was mid IMO. I didn't really care for the cream inside. It didn't have a particular flavor at all. The Glazed Crondy was interesting, tasty, and SUPER SWEET, but I LOVED it! I loved the flakiness of its croissant style. Proceed with caution if you can't do extreme sweetness. The Coffee Raised donut tasted very similar to the Butter Crumb raised donut. The coffee taste was too subtle for me though. It needed more added or a darker roast to contrast the sweetness of the donut. Still, I liked the texture of both of those very much; soft, chewy, with a nice mouth feel. The Glazed Buttermilk was similar to a sour cream donut. Fantastic with coffee. The Glazed Old Fashioned was just kinda okay. Nothing to write home about at all. I wouldn't buy it again. I wanted to love the Maple Raised with Churros, but yeah, no. 🫤 The churros were too thick and kinda chewy. Not very flavorful either. Overall, my experience with Randy's was excellent! I'd definitely buy from them again. 👌🏾👍🏾❤️ Update: 6-26-26 I've returned to Randy's three t

This place is worth all the hype, and the incredible, top quality here even reminds me of Blue Star Donuts in Portland! I had one of the best donuts of my life here, the Lemon Glazed. It’s a cake-based donut with the perfect balance of those lemon and donut flavors, plus an insane amount of glaze drenched atop. I ate half on the day-of and the other half after a day in the fridge, and both times, it was so dense and moist. I love their donuts and highly recommend everyone tries!

Randy’s Donuts in Buckhead is a really cool spot that’s definitely worth checking out. The location itself is actually pretty small, but it sits in a very large open parking lot, which makes it super easy to access and park without any hassle—something you don’t always get in Buckhead. I went early in the morning right after they opened, and even then the service was great. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Now the donuts… that’s where this place really stands out. They are soft on the inside with a slight crisp on the outside, which gives them a really good texture. Even the smaller donuts are noticeably bigger than what you typically find at other spots. And the giant donut (Texas-sized)… don’t let the size throw you off. It’s not just big for show—it’s actually fresh, soft, and really good all the way through. Also worth mentioning, the donut box is sturdy and well-sized, which is perfect if you’re grabbing a dozen or planning to take some to work. Overall, this was a great experience. If you’re in the Buckhead area and craving donuts—or just want to bring something fun to the office—this is definitely a spot to hit.

YouTube shots made me try it! I watched a short of an Atlanta influencer discussing this spot! She advised that the original donut shop is in Inglewood and they now have a location in Atlanta! The website for Randy’s states World Famous since 1952!! While it has not been around since the inception of the likes of Krispy Kreme ( founded in 1932), they for sure have stood the test of time ! On a Saturday evening , around 8:30pm I drove over to Buck head for the sole purpose of patronizing this spot! They are located in a small brick and mortar on the perimeter of Lenox mall parking lot . While a large portion of Lenox mall parking lot is reserved for valet- the lot closest to this donut shop is free! You do have to go through a security gate to park, but there are no fees associated with going through the gate. When I walked in I noticed that the pickings were slim! The staff said they had a busy day! Looking at the donuts I must set they did not scream desirable. I opted to try a classic glazed, the lemon donut and the coffee donut. I did ask the staff which donuts were her favorite - she advised that since they were not gluten free she did not eat them so could not of
